This time we started our walk at the end of valley in Sixt, Sixt-fer-a-Cheval. This is another stunning itinerary in the middle of a natural reserve through waterfalls, massive rock faces, beautiful forests, wildlife.. the pictures will give you a good idea

I had never seen one of these so close. They really are impressive creatures

And as we cane out of the trees we met his girfriend, comfortbly resting on a rock by a stream of water. I wonder whether they have a son or a daughter somewhere..
of course they do! and it’s a curious one too. he/she would not stop looking at us

This is one of my favourites. In the distance you can see 2 glaciers, Glacier du Ruan is on the left and Glacier du Prazon on the right. The peak on the left is the Tour de Prazon 2,929 mt
Barbara on her way to the Chalet du boret, just round the corner

Chalet du Boret 1,380 mt. The view from here is amazing

I could easily live here for the summer

What a shame..still closed. I said the view was amazing from here

According to what people say around here this is also the best time of the year to see wildlife. I think it’s true

We made it. after 4 hours we got to the refuge de la Vogealle at 1,901 mt

Barbara likes her brie so much that she prefers it “nature” saying that eating bread with it cover its taste
